    I found the Shaw quote in a love letter he wrote 1913 to ‘Stella’ Beatrice Campbell.
    Something about the rhythm of ” my million nameless joys and my day’s wage” remind me of “My working week and my Sunday rest” in the W.H. Auden poem so beautifully read at the funeral in “Four Weddings And…” by actor John Hannah in his adorable Scottish accent.
